Blijkbaar loopt mijn loopbaanonderbreking ten einde in november in plaats van februari volgend jaar. Dat wordt sneller leren of ik zit binnenkort weer achter een bureau.

Inspiratie

Two months ago I discovered the blog of Lisa Golightly... It was love at first sight. I spend 3 days and read every post she made. I absolutely adore her faceless boys and girls. the atmosphere of her paintings.
At the same time Celine (who's helping me finding my own voice or rather brush stroke in painting) mentioned that we should copy the artists we are drawn to because it will develop our own path, it will show our colors and strokes and the end result will never be a mere copy but will reveal our own identity.
But, ... copying is never very satisfying at the end and I am terrified of copyright issues so I tried something else. In stead of trying to copy a painting of wonderful mrs Golightly I tried my hand at making a painting inspired by her world of boys and girls.

So hopefully mostly my own thing and no copyright issues involved ;-)
